"Draw to Learn is a homeschool art curriculum and Bible study series. It helps children internalize truths from God's Word while giving them guidance in drawing a wide variety of pictures. The student reads a passage from his own Bible, thinks about the meaning, and then draws a picture related to the passage. This simple approach helps children grow in their faith and understanding of Scripture, and at the same time they use and develop their art skills. Each child or adult can complete it at his own skill level.

Draw to Learn the Book of Proverbs has 150 lessons. Read through Proverbs as you illustrate its wonderful principles for living. Think and draw about wisdom, speech, family relationships, work, and more. The ebook gives one family permission to reproduce the pages for their own use." (Description from Notgrass.com)
As the oldest of 8 homeschooled children, I am very impressed by this e-book and can imagine how much my family (and others!) would enjoy it. The book opens up with brief, clear instructions for use as well as some great ideas for expansion into a unit study. As I read through this part, I realized how versatile this book is and how easy it would be to lead a wide age range of children through it. Each page gives the day's reference from Proverbs, a simple summary of the "big idea," a large rectangular area for the child's drawing, and brief suggestions for thought and what to draw. The lessons are simple enough for use with very young children or as an excellent spring-board for deeper discussion with older students. Like I said: very versatile! As a matter of fact, while the book is geared toward use as homeschool curriculum, I could see any artist enjoying it as a sort of devotional. The entire book of Proverbs is covered in 150 lessons.
