Attention, Sleuths and Writers!

You may have noticed the goofy button in the sidebar that reads (backward, of course), "Code Hunt coming soon!"
Well, it tells no lies.
To make sure you will be able to decode to your heart's content without running into bugs and glitches, I have had the entire Hunt in beta-testing. That testing is almost complete, and then...
But, wait.
I thought this was supposed to be a writerly sort of blog. What does this Code Hunt have to do with writers?
It's of obvious interest to sleuth-types. But writers?
Aha! That's what I can't tell you. (Because that would be telling.) But to finish the Hunt, there is writing involved. And since the Hunt is also a race, being used to getting thoughts out on paper will be an asset.
(Are there any homeschool moms getting excited yet? Codes, research, history, math (!), and writing all rolled into one fun Code Hunt!)
