Stereotypes and Soggy Weather

It has been raining non-stop. Sometimes there is something inspiring about a perfectly soggy day. I am sitting by beautiful bay windows with my computer and a mind full of writing material. Yet I'm not writing. Maybe the problem is I'm not creatively sipping coffee. To be a perfect author stereotype, I would probably need to be doing that and wearing the eccentric hat I left in the other room. But alas for the stereotype. There's that inspiring soggy weather, the computer, the ideas, the bay windows... but nothing. I don't think it's the lack of coffee and hat. Rather, I'm feeling too much like a typing head-cold to be very creative or write very well.

  1. It has been like that here all day. Soggy, soggy and more soggy. And really windy. But the soggy-ness does inspire me rather strangely sometimes, too. I hope that maybe tomorrow you will be more warm-headed and maybe will be able to write or such. And i think that you shouldn't take on the coffee thing, either. I say, "Just stick with tea!". Anyways, i will see you Thursday. :)

  2. Yes, I don't really think I'll do coffee. I like it occasionally (if mixed with hot chocolate and creamer), but then I regret it because I always get a headache. :( Yes, tea is good. See ya tomorrow!

  3. :) I will drink it in like a Starbucks Carmel Frappucino(which is like once a year), but never by its self. Yuck! With me, i just get a major sugar rush and can't sleep :( You all will be greatly missed today. I hope that you all will get better soon!

  4. Yep, coffee is strong stuff!
I know... :( It majorly stinks that we're sick and can't join you all. This is where I have to keep reminding myself of the loving sovereignty of God, though, to keep a good attitude. :] Keep my mom in prayer, if you would. She has it the worst and has been sick since Saturday. *sigh*
